I have a lump in my throat. Emotions are deep. Words are difficult to write.
Today has been a day of remembrance for our family. It was one one year ago, April 17, at 4:27 PM, that our beloved "PawPaw" Lumpkin passed away. He was affectionately called "Lump" by his friends. Throughout the day, my mind has drifted down memory lane. I have prayed for my mother-in-law, Mick, and the other members of our immediate family during my drift.
Here are a few of those memories I stumbled upon...

"The Lump" praying over Miquell and me.

"Daddy Lump" and "The Mick" capturing the moment.

Eva getting to know the "Legendary Lump"!
He was a man that waxed eloquent in the pulpit, led with integrity, and left a legacy of faith that we will always "tether" our future to. Paw Paw, we miss you. We love you. Hug Jean, PaPa Rice, Nana, and Grandpa Hennigan for me.

Jeff...
Daddy/Paw Paw keeps on living doesn't he....
I'm so grateful the impact of his life and living so
touched you that your memory's hold such tenderness.
Thank you.....Legacy is a really big thing.
So blessed he gave us a good one.
I'm praying for you and Miquell as you create and
build one for Eva and Gibson.
I love you Jeff. I'm pretty fortunate to have
a son as you.
